This is how your application works
You can apply for a study place all year round until all study places have been allocated. The latest date to apply for the coming winter semester is 15 August of the same year.
Early Bird
The one-off application fee is €50. Take advantage of our Early Bird promotion: if you apply for the winter semester by 15 June, you will not pay an application fee and secure your study place early.
Use our online application form to provide us with the essential personal data we need for your application.
You send us your application documents via our online upload function. You will receive the link and all the necessary information after step 1 of your application.
We will check your application documents.
If you fulfil the admission requirements for your desired degree programme, we will invite you to a selection day at UW/H so that we can get an impression of you - and you can get an impression of us.
The introductory interviews on the selection day are about
- your curiosity to question things critically,
- your enjoyment of thinking innovatively, putting your ideas into practice and
- your motivation for the degree programme.
The interviews can be attended by professors, academic staff, students, graduates or external parties from business, culture and politics.
We will let you know very soon after the selection day whether or not you have been offered a study place with us. If you are accepted, it is best to secure your study place quickly.
If you are also convinced by us, you accept the study place offer and enrol with us. We will send you all the necessary information with the confirmation of your study place.
