Your applicationYour path to the UW/H: Individual. Personalised. Without NC.

With us, you are human and not a numerus!

We know that you are more than just your A-levels or your final grade in a degree programme. Your commitment, your personality and your potential count much more with us than a numerical value. That's why we don't allocate study places at UW/H on the basis of a numerus clausus (NC). Our application process offers you the chance to show who and how you are.

Be courageous, be authentic - and shape your future with us.

Our individualised application procedure

While many universities select applicants solely on the basis of their grades, we rely on a personalised application procedure. We are interested in your ideas, your strengths and your visions. You will get to know us and we will get to know you personally during the application procedure. This ensures a trusting relationship right from the start and gives you the opportunity to clarify your questions and concerns directly. In addition to your school education and CV, we pay attention to your social, communication and creative skills. What counts for us is who you are and what you want to do with your potential.

Our process opens doors for everyone who is committed with heart and mind. This means you have the best chance of getting a study place even without top A-level grades - if you impress us with your personality and motivation.

Personal contact

Diverse selection criteria

What counts for us is who you are and where you want to go.

Individual opportunities

You convince us with your personality.

admissions committee

Several people decide on the acceptance of a study place.

These are the essential building blocks of our application procedure

You can find more detailed information in the application details for the individual degree programmes below by clicking on the link to the application.

Submitting application documents

Our degree programmes are state-recognised and require certain basic admission requirements, such as a higher education entrance qualification and other documents. We therefore need an application with various documents from you.

Admission interviews

Once your application documents have been checked and the formal admission requirements have been met, the next step is to invite you to a personal admission interview. This gives you the opportunity to convince us of your motivation for your desired degree programme. In individual interviews and group interactions, we want to find out who you are, what drives you and what ideas you bring to the table.
