Every year, we welcome international students to Witten/Herdecke University who are completing all or part of their studies in Germany. We also support our students in the planning and realisation of stays abroad for study or internship purposes.

Would you like to complete your entire international degree programme with us?
At UW/H, we offer several Master's degree programmes that you can study entirely in English. If you speak German, you can also take part in our bilingual or German-language programmes.

Would you like to spend a semester abroad with us?
Are you a student at another university and would like to come to Witten/Herdecke University for one or two semesters? Find out how to apply and start your studies with us. Discover our wide range of courses, improve your language skills in German courses and get support from one of our buddies. Internationalisation and expansion of the worldwide partner network are the focus of Witten/Herdecke University. Here you can find information about our partner network, which currently comprises over 70 partner universities.
Double degree CHN - Community Health Nursing (M. Sc.)
You can obtain a double degree from two of our partner universities. If you study CHN - Community Health Nursing (M. Sc.) with us, you can take part in the double degree programme with the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
Double degree PPÖ - Philosophy, Politics and Economics (B. A.)
If you study PPÖ - Philosophy, Politics and Economics (B. A.), you can earn an international double degree in Commerce at the University of Victoria in Canada.
