Is your dream job a doctor or dentist? We will guide you through the entire medical or dental degree programme up to the state examination (StEx) with sound clinical-practical training. From the first semester onwards, you will gain valuable practical experience and contacts for your future professional life - and at the end of your state examination programme, you will be perfectly prepared for the final examination. Ready for your dream degree programme at UW/H? With us, you can study both the Modellstudiengang Medizin (StEx) and Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde (StEx).

Modellstudiengang Medizin (StEx)

"Fit for practice" is our motto for your medicine degree programme at Witten/Herdecke University. From the first semester onwards, we introduce you to everyday working life using the problem-based learning (POL) method and sound clinical-practical training - covering the full breadth and depth of the medical spectrum.

Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde (StEx)

Our aim is to train you as a dentist with in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills - but also with social skills and the ability to reflect.

Studying without an NC? It's possible!

Good news: Good news: At UW/H, A-level grades are not at the centre of the allocation of study places. This is because our degree programmes are 100% state-recognised - and still NC-free. Because with us you are human and not a numerus.

Study first, then pay back: Our ISA

The Income Share Agreement (ISA) makes it possible: you can study with us first and pay back your tuition fees later depending on your income. Because studying should have no financial limits.

Studium fundamentale (Stufu) opens up space for all students to experiment, reflect and create. You can do something that prepares you specifically for your appointment, expands your profile or something that you simply enjoy.

How you can finance your private study programme

There is a suitable financing model for all students. If you are concerned that your current financial situation does not allow you to study at UW/H: With the Income Share Agreement (ISA), we offer a social financing model that enables all interested parties to study at Witten/Herdecke University.
