We offer Bachelor's degree programmes in the fields of Business and Society and Health with the degree options Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.). In the area of business and society, our Bachelor's degree programmes are combined in the unique Bachelor of Choice study model - with maximum freedom and flexibility. Here you can change your degree programme without giving up credits and time.

Global Sustainability: Climate, Justice, Transformation (B. A.)

Humanity is facing major challenges: Climate crisis, environmental crises, global injustices. The need for people who can work on solutions in companies, NGOs, the media, politics and research is immense. In the Bachelor's degree programme Global Sustainability: Climate, Justice, Transformation (B. A.), you will learn how to face these challenges and develop solutions.

Management (B. Sc.)

More than just a Management degree programme: we prepare you for your career with a high practical component. Whether you opt for a start-up, global corporation, family business or NGO, with the Management Bachelor's programme you will develop your leadership personality and build a valuable network in the business world during your studies.

Management & Psychologie (B. Sc.)

In the interdisciplinary Management & Psychology degree programme, you will combine different perspectives from business management and psychology. You will learn how organisations and markets work, how people behave in organisations and as consumers and how you can apply this knowledge in business.

PPÖ – Philosophie, Politik und Ökonomik (B. A.)

What happens in the field of tension between economics and politics has a profound impact on the lives of all people. On the PPÖ – Philosophie, Politik und Ökonomik degree programme, you will put decisions to the ethical and philosophical test and expand scientific theory with valuable practical experience for your project: Making the world a better place!

Psychologie (B. Sc.)

Is your goal to become a psychotherapist? Then our Bachelor of Psychology with a specialisation in psychotherapy is the first step in your training. From the very first semester, you will experience in practice what it means to empathise with people. You will learn various therapeutic approaches and scientific methods. With a Bachelor of Science degree, you will have a broad knowledge of psychological theories and specialised knowledge in the fields of clinical psychology and diagnostics.

Social Data Science (B. Sc.)

How do we make informed decisions that move our society forward? The key to this challenge is data. In the Social Data Science (B. Sc.) degree programme, we show you how to gain a holistic understanding of how to use data as a responsible decision-maker in business, politics and society and get closer to your goal of a better future.

Wirtschaft, Politik und Recht (B. A.)

In order to improve our society in the long term, we need to understand how politics and business work, as well as the legal framework within which they operate. With this Bachelor's degree programme, we bring together Economics, Law and Political Science. Learn to understand the complex interrelationships and develop solutions for social challenges.

Complete freedom in your studies

Study with complete freedom in the Bachelor of Choice programme: You can choose from six degree programmes in Business & Society with individual specialisation options, interdisciplinary nano-degrees and over 100 courses in Studium fundamentale. What's special: Within the first year of study, you have the opportunity to switch to one of the five other degree programmes without giving away credits and time.

Maximum freedom of choice in the Bachelor of Choice

More flexibility and freedom of choice in studying is hardly possible: with the Bachelor of Choice study model, students enrol on one of six degree programmes. The highlight: they only have to decide after a joint orientation year.

Studying without an NC? It's possible!

Good news: Good news: At UW/H, A-level grades are not at the centre of the allocation of study places. This is because our degree programmes are 100% state-recognised - and still NC-free. Because with us you are human and not a numerus.

Study first, then pay back: Our ISA

The Income Share Agreement (ISA) makes it possible: you can study with us first and pay back your tuition fees later depending on your income. Because studying should have no financial limits.

There is a suitable financing model for all students. If you are concerned that your current financial situation does not allow you to study at UW/H: With the Income Share Agreement (ISA), we offer a social financing model that enables all interested parties to study at Witten/Herdecke University.
