Literature for your specialised topics

In the UW/H University Library, you will find the right reading material to help you prepare for exams, assignments and seminars or to recapitulate and internalise the subject matter in peace and quiet.

The library offers you literature both in the form of print media, i.e. books, magazines etc., which you can work through or borrow on site, as well as in the form of digital media. You can also use these electronic resources off campus, allowing you to study flexibly at home or on the go. A wide range of catalogues, databases and subject portals are available for literature research. The library's range of media is specially tailored to the seminars of the degree programmes at Witten/Herdecke University.

Library as a place of learning

The library at UW/H not only provides you with the right reading material for your studies or research projects. Here you will also find numerous technically well-equipped reading and study areas where you can work undisturbed. The reading room adjacent to the library offers you a special place of retreat. The room is accessible to students at all times and caters to the different learning needs of students with its various seating options.

You will find the library and reading room in the university's wooden building. The library team is available Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. You have access to the reading room 24/7, 365 days a year.
