Workshop on study orientation

Choosing the right degree programme is a major challenge for many young people. Faced with more than 21,000 study options, many high school graduates feel overwhelmed and are afraid of not making the right decision. To counteract this uncertainty, the UW/H is hosting a three-day orientation workshop for the second time to help participants identify their personal strengths and interests and find the right degree programme for them.

The workshop is aimed at all students who are about to take their higher education entrance qualification (qualification phase 2, also known as year 13), as well as students up to the age of 25. Through individual coaching, practical workshops and direct insights into everyday university life, participants gain clarity about their own future prospects.

What participants can expect:

  • Personal coaching: Certified coaches provide support in finding out more about your own personality and identifying suitable fields of study and careers.
  • Practical seminars and workshops: In-depth insights into the topics of economics, society and personal development show which topics and subjects students at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Society at Witten/Herdecke University are involved with.
  • Exchange with professors and students: Prospective students can get answers to their questions about the degree programme in personal discussions.
  • Insight into campus life: From the first coffee in the morning to a cosy end to the evening - participants will get to know everyday life at UW/H.
