The handprint
A complementary measure of the positive sustainability impact of products
Project overview
The handprint is an innovative and holistic approach that makes it possible to record, evaluate and communicate the ecological, economic and social sustainability of products. Complementary to the existing footprint approach, which focuses on negative ecological impacts, the handprint emphasises the added social value and positive sustainability impacts of products throughout their entire life cycle.
