SÖF-Biodiwert
Appreciation and evaluation of biodiversity (BioVal)
Project overview
The loss of biodiversity is one of the biggest challenges worldwide; the food industry is particularly affected. How can the extinction of species be curbed sustainably and what can the economy do to help?
The BioVal research project starts with the food industry and works with companies to find out how they can contribute to the promotion of biodiversity along product lifecycles and how this can be anchored in management and communicated. From this, the scientists are developing concrete measures to support companies in integrating biodiversity into their management systems and B2B and B2C communication.
