SDG assessment
Further development of a sustainability assessment method
Project overview
The "SDG Evaluation of Products" (SEP) is a method that assesses the sustainability of products and services. It consists of three components:
- the system analysis as the basis for carrying out a sustainability assessment,
- the sustainability indicators as metrics that must be used in a product sustainability assessment,
- the sustainability assessmentwhich makes the contribution of a product or service to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) measurable using the defined indicators.
The criteria make it clear in which of the addressed sustainability topics the product or service is already good and where there is still a need for action.
