ParDeVI
Participatory focus group-based development of an individualised video feedback intervention programme for people with dementia living at home and their family carers
Project overview
Video feedback is a psychosocial intervention to improve communication in nursing situations through guided reflection. It is based on the assumptions of person-centred and relationship-oriented care. Initial applications in interaction with people with dementia show positive results of effectiveness. In order to increase the accuracy of fit, the aim of this study is to develop an individualised video feedback intervention programme (VIP) for people with dementia living at home and their caregiving relatives (dyads) in a participatory manner. Firstly, core elements of the VIP will be identified and customised with the involvement of the target group and a study protocol for a subsequent exploratory study will be developed.
