Nuumi - Smoking cessation with the support of an app
Scientific monitoring and evaluation
Project overview
Consisting of an app-based behavioural intervention with e-cigarette-assisted nicotine cessation, the nuumi smoking cessation programme aims to address the physical and psychological aspects of cigarette addiction. We recently completed a usability study in which smokers received the nuumi intervention. Our primary outcome was self-reported 7-day point prevalence abstinence (PPA) from cigarettes. We also conducted interviews with participants to understand their experience of the smoking cessation programme. The study has been completed and our findings will be published soon.
