Mechanisms of measles vaccine virus-mediated anti-tumour immunity
Project overview
Certain so-called oncolytic viruses are being trialled as novel cancer therapies. These viruses infect and kill tumour cells. At the same time, they induce an immune response against the tumour. In this project, we are investigating the underlying mechanisms. We are using both co-culture models with primary human cells and immunocompetent mouse models. We want to use the knowledge gained to further develop this novel form of therapy.
