Lecture series Human-Animal Relationship SoSe 2025

Environmental awareness and climate protection have become increasingly important in recent years. Even though this has already resulted in very successful formats at universities, the direct relationship between humans and animals has not yet been sufficiently addressed in university contexts. The lecture series of the Chair of Didactics and Educational Research in Healthcare and the Junior Professorship of Digital Health therefore refers to the synthesis of the “human-animal relationship” and offers a platform for an examination of the diverse aspects of animal welfare, environmental awareness and ethics.
Following the successful launch of the event in the winter semester 2024/25, the series will be continued in the summer semester 2025. The lecture series takes place in the Studium fundamentale, so that students from all degree programs can participate; it is also open to all interested parties nationwide.
The online format always takes place on Thursdays during the semester on the following dates:
