Innovation and digital transformation in the health care system ATLAS ITG-2

Project overview

How are artificial intelligence, 3D printing and robotics changing healthcare? The digital transformation is opening up new fields of action for players in health management and is also linked to issues of overarching social relevance. The innovative organisation of healthcare offers growth and design potential for companies; in order to maintain competitiveness - also in international comparison - innovative strength and adaptability are required in particular.

ATLAS offers science-based solutions to master the challenge of the digital transformation of health management:

  • Research: social science analyses of digitalisation effects in the health care sector
  • Network and hubs: connections to innovative players and projects in the digital health management sector in North Rhine-Westphalia
  • Expertise: current studies and technical innovations, prepared with practical use cases for healthcare professionals

In this way, the researchers support the theory-practice transfer and contribute to the discussion of the social changes resulting from the digital transformation.
