Go Unite! - Research ethics working group

The research ethics working group of the "Go Unite!" network deals with ethical issues at universities and institutions and has been in existence since autumn 2021.
"Researchers have a responsibility towards the scientific community. Confidentiality is enshrined in law. Research data management can help to raise awareness of sensitive topics before data is collected and during the research process."
Specifically, the working group deals with the following topics
- Confidentiality
- Raising awareness for sensitive topics
- Ethical standards of the scientific associations
- Agreement on the postulate of openness (open science) with shared responsibility
The "Go Unite!" research ethics working group is now meeting again in cooperation with and with a view to the ELSA section of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). Current topics include
- EOSC and European Health Data Space
- Data linkage (NFDI4Health)
- Handouts on research ethics for universities and colleges
- Research ethics and AI research projects
