Foundation of the Association for Integrative Medicine (AIM)
Employees of the Gerhard Kienle Chair are part of the board and steering group

On Monday, 27 January 2025, the Association for Integrative Medicine (AIM) was founded in Hanover.
The following were elected to the board:
- Prof Dr Diana Steinmann
- PD Dr Christian Kessler
- PD Dr Friedemann Schad
- Dr Anna Paul
- Dr Dr Maren M. Michaelsen
The steering group is initially made up of those present on 27 January minus the Board of Directors (seven to twelve people according to the statutes):
- Caroline Geiser, initially joining as a natural person (later representing the Kneipp Association)
- Christine Berek, Federal Osteopathy Association
- Prof Dr David Martin, natural person (IfIM, Witten/Herdecke University)
- Dr Marcela Winkler, natural person (later representative of Bosch Health Campus, Robert Bosch Hospital)
- Monika Kölsch, natural person (later as representative of the DZVHÄ)
- Martin-Günther Sterner, natural person, Hufelandgesellschaft e.V., Gesundheit Aktiv e. V.
- Dr Sandra Giannokoulis-Markus, natural person
- Prof Dr Harald Matthes, DAMiD
- Dr Ananda Chopra, Ayurveda Dachverband Deutschland - ADAVED e. V. or another person from ADAVED
- Stefan Schmidt-Troschke - was ill at short notice, will be included in the steering committee
