Project overview
The team of the Friede-Springer Endowed Professorship for Global Child Health is cooperating with the University of Mahajanga to strengthen paediatric emergency care in the Alaotra Mangoro region of Madagascar.
The GIZ hospital partnership[1] focuses on the implementation of the ETAT+ training programme, which provides further training for staff, particularly nurses, midwives and doctors in 30 healthcare facilities in the region.
The aim of the project is to improve the care of acutely ill children and to achieve sustainable capacity building through targeted training.
