Election forecasts for the German federal election 2025
Project overview
The aim of the project is to forecast the 2025 federal election. The researchers are developing dynamic forecasting models, collecting and analysing primary and secondary data and investigating how election forecasts affect political behaviour and attitudes. The project module based at Witten/Herdecke University focuses on how forecasting models for the Bundestag elections can be developed and improved - to this end, the researchers are expanding existing methodological models, integrating constituency data and including coalition formation forecasts.
