Project overview
Art-based assessment instruments such as the tree test, in which respondents are asked to draw a tree, are (projective) methods that are often used in clinical psychology. As a rule, only the "end product", the finished drawing, is analysed and interpreted.
In cooperation with various partners, the Chair of Research Methodology and Statistics in Psychology has developed statistical procedures to extract predictive elements, for example for the early detection of dementia, not only from the image but also from the entire drawing process.
