Corona study on behavioural patterns
Project overview
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the life of our society. In this study, we not only look at the experience of stress, but also focus on perceived changes in attitudes and behaviour ("perceptions of change") in the sense of transformation processes ("post-traumatic growth").
What influence do the perceived changes have on the handling of stress indicators and how do they influence well-being and life satisfaction; what influence does faith have as a supportive resource and what significance do reverence and gratitude have as a secular form of a perceptive spirituality? How does the feeling of loneliness and social isolation develop in relation to the perceived stressors? And how have people from other cultures reacted to this?
In order to investigate these and other questions, we initiated surveys in different groups of people. As data has been collected constantly since June 2020, it is now possible to assess the impact of the different phases of the pandemic on the various cohorts. The answers should provide insights into usable resources that are helpful during the coronavirus pandemic and for planning support services.
