Project overview

The project on care needs in severe COPD (COPD-PALCARE) focusses on the situation of patients with severe COPD and a high symptom burden. The aim of the study is to formulate recommendations for the palliative care of people with severe COPD that can better fulfil the needs of patients and their relatives. The recommendations should be adequate and acceptable from the perspective of patients and their relatives and should be assessed as relevant, practicable and implementable by healthcare professionals. To this end, qualitative surveys based on each other, including the Delphi method, will be conducted with all of the target groups mentioned.
