Contamination wound skin model
Pilot study
Project overview
In this study, human donor skin is used to create a model for contaminated wounds. Various treatments are being tested with this model to see how well they work against germs. Wound irrigation solutions used in clinics and experimental approaches such as cold plasma, bromelain and manuka honey have already been successfully tested.
