Research
Oliver Gröne is an internationally recognised health care researcher. He is interested in the following topics:
- Development and evaluation of process and outcome indicators
- Statistical methods to improve causal inference in observational studies
- Utilisation of PREMs and PROMs in implementation and improvement studies
- Analysing the relationships between quality management systems and process and outcome quality indicators
- Data linkage and analysis of national routine data, especially for measuring clinical care pathways
- Improving transparency in quality reporting
- Strategies and tools to strengthen patient involvement
- Mixed-methods evaluations of the impact of (national) quality assurance procedures.
In recent years, he has worked intensively on the evaluation and implementation of sustainability strategies in the health care system.
