Julia Söhngen

Julia Söhngen completed her training as a paediatric nurse at Marienhospital Witten from 1991 to 1994. After working on the neonatal intensive care unit for two years, she began studying nursing science at Witten/Herdecke University in 1996. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees there. From 2001 to 2005, she was responsible for nursing management in a children's hospice in Gelsenkirchen. She chaired the nursing examinations for the paediatric clinic in Dortmund several times. Julia Söhngen has been a research assistant at Witten/Herdecke University since 2013 and has also been a member of the FamiLe research college at UW/H since June 2015.
