RMI Professorship of Strategic Organisation
The RMI Professorship of Strategic Organisation at the Reinhard Mohn Institute of Management (RMI) researches how responsible managers can shape employee collaboration in such a way that companies become more successful, adaptable and innovative. To this end, we investigate the interplay between creativity, learning and performance at the individual, team and organisational levels. We regularly publish in leading international journals and have proven expertise in theoretically sound empirical research. We represent an evidence-based management approach that characterises corporate practice. This approach is also reflected in our courses, for example in the seminar "Sustainable Corporate Management in Practice", which we organise in cooperation with well-known companies such as Katjes, König Pilsener and Develey. As part of the RMI, we are actively involved in knowledge transfer through media work and public events in the Ruhr region, such as the RMI debates. This means that we not only have proven research expertise, but also actively promote the exchange between research, business practice and society.
