Summary
Ekkehart Jenetzky, born 1972 in Stuttgart, Professor for Research Methodology and Information
Systems in the Integrative Medicine at the University of Witten/Herdecke, an epidemiologist, medical
computer scientist and child and adolescent psychiatrist. For the last 15 years he worked as biometrician
in statistical departments as head of several registries for rare birth defects and is still in the steering
committee of these networks (e.g. www.arm-net.eu). He has performed extensive epidemiological
studies, e.g. the German standardization of a motor assessment (www.bot-2.de) with 1200 children. He
holds patents (WO03096902, DE000010221839) and has been investigator in pharmaceutical studies.
He lectures in epidemiology and child and adolescent psychiatry and published more than 100 papers.
