Professorship of Experimental Virology
In Experimental Virology, we investigate virus-host interactions and use these findings to research new therapeutic approaches. In particular, we are investigating the measles virus and its vaccine strain. One focus is on cancer immunotherapy using these vaccine viruses. To this end, the vaccine viruses are specifically modified in order to develop safe and effective therapeutics.
