Umoyo wa Ana Athu (Our children's health), Malawi, 2022-2026

PI: Interrupted time series study to measure the impact of the implementation of new paediatric non-communicable diseases guidelines for child health in Malawi

This project aims to achieve the following objectives

  • Develop a national child health package for non-communicable diseases (NCDs): Guidelines, training materials and communication tools, including an interactive web app for Malawian health workers.
  • Roll out the elements of the NCD package nationwide, prioritising regions with the greatest need.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of the NCD package on existing child health services
